What is a good prestige class for a Fighter to go into? The character is based heavily on melee combat and uses no ranged weapons (only a Greatsword). Please suggest some good classes (preferably v3.5).

  1. Generally, fighter prestige classes aren't worth it.  You would do better to multi-class a level or two of cleric, to get some basic healing and other magic.

  2. my friend is a spell sword but he was a wizard 1st  i m a scorcerer and my friends are telling me nt t go dragon deciple but for u u want to stay as u r plus if we do not kn ur stats now u might not be eligable fo rany

  3. If you wanna be a walking death machine try this (if your DM allows it).  Take the monkey grip feat (it allows you to use large weapons in one hand)and learn to use two weapons (either through feats or the ranger class).  Next, enter into the Tempest class.  Ultimately you will get a ton of attacks with a greatsword in each hand, but it kinda restricts your armor.

If you like the armor and want the glory of taking on the best enemies go into the Knight class.  You can call out enemies and they come to focus on you instead of others.  It makes your character seem like a beast and gives opportunities to the other characters to make sneak attacks or use their spells without any bother.
