i want to level up this one pokemon

and i thought about how u have to level up an abra without teaching it a move

u send it out first then u switch to a different pokemon

i want to do this with a pokemon that u can train normaly

i want to know if this method will have any effect on the way the stats will build up

i want to do this fast but still want good stats, if it will effect the stats then i will just do it the normal way

  1. there would be an effect to the stats levelling up...just teach abra another move better...it will learn confusion at level 16 when it evolve to kadabra anyway...there's a lot more time to increase the stats of the pokemon

  2. Training a pokemon without strictly fighting one kind of pokemon (E.G Magicarp for SPEED and Gyarados for ATTACK) will have a desvistating effect on the strength of your pokémon. If you dont battle online, then it doesnt matter, just train them normally, the strongest pokemon you will fight in the game is lv80 (Arceus, with an action replay)

One word of advice... Research online and find what pokemon are stronger at...

Like Gyarados... do not teach him any SPECIAL moves, teach him only PHYSICAL moves. As at lv100 his ATTACK is almost double what his SP. ATTACK is. Thats when he is trained normally!

An ideal moveset for a Gyarados is...

    Aqua Tail

    Dragon Dance

    Waterfall

Ice Fang (For Dragon type pokemon, it is amazing how badly Gyarados is vs. a Dragon type...)

    Hope this helps!

  3. no i dont think it will

  4. no
