D in the second semester of geometry

How do I break this to my mother? She's not that bad about grades but I nor my siblings have ever even gotten a C on a grade card. I feel really guilty though because I wanted to take geometry so badly that I asked my mom to pay $150 for it. I got a B the first semester so that might even things out and I have a 3.4 gpa overall, I think. Will that be okay for colleges as a freshman gpa? I don't plan on going to a really selective college plus I have an ACT score of 28 which I plan on retaking at least 2 more times, so will that even it out?

I know how you feel. I got a C - on Biology. That is my worst grade. I might retake it if i have any free time.

You know, some college don't accept the garde D. You should get enroll in summer school program, and retake Biology.

Don't care about what other people think. Just try you best!!!

You can balance the D with a B which balance the grade to a C. You could also balance the D with A which would balance the grade to a B.
