D-link or working?

Question

my d-link isn't working after i tried to connect it to a new wireless internet i just put upstairs in my house. it said it is having technical errors. what do i have to do to fix it?

turn off your computer then unplug your cable modem and wait 30 seconds then unplug your d-link and wait 30 seconds. Then plug back in your cable modem and wait until the four green lights stop blinking then wait 30 seconds. Then plug your d-link back in and turn your computer on. It should work then if it is hooked up right. I had the same problem so i called my internet provider and thats what they told me and so every time it's not working i do that and it always works for me and its free!!!!

I think if you take it out or disable it, remove the driver, and reinstall it should work fine. Just go to device manager in control panel>administrative tools

or search it in vista.
