D you have to pass the earth science regents to graduate high school?

Because I'm taking the living environment regents this year. Do i need the earth science regents to pass high school?

I think you need any 2 science regents to graduate. So lets say you fail this but pass physics and chemistry regents you can still graduate. I am in New York and I'm pretty sure that's how they told me they did it when I was in HS. I would double check with your teacher or guidance counselor to make sure.

you need 3 credits of science to graduate, and you NEED biology regents to graduate, as well as one other. if you pass earth science and the class, that will count as one class credit and the other regents credit.

if you fail earth science, and pass the class, you will still get the class credit, but not regents  credit. you will have to pass the chemistry or physics exam.

trust me, study and earth science is easy.

*these apply to NYS residence. if you dont live in  NY, it might be different.

No you dont need the earth science regents to graduate. You need the Bio one to graduate....you need to pass 3 years of science classes, but only one regents....i know this for a fact because i didnt pass the earth science one but passed the bio, and im graduating next week! UNFORTUNATEY im taking it 2mrw so that i can get an advanced regents diploma. I dont even take that class so i dont see how its possible that ill even pass it.

The answer is no, you don't need to pass earth science regents, it's just an option.

But if you do pass your earth science regents, you don't really need to pass Living Environment regents.

If you pass any 1 science regents, then you're set.

Unless, you want to receive an ADVANCED REGENTS DIPLOMA, then passing earth science regents is required ALONG with your Living Environment. Not only earthscience or living env. ANY 2 science regents to receive Advanced regents diploma.

you need living enviornment not earth science but it is important that you take all the science courses so you can get into a good school and to help ypu in the future.
