Yes everyone does make mistakes, but on Yahoo answers there is a spelling checker so there are no excuses for poor spelling here.

It can be difficult to understand what people are trying to say when they make serious spelling mistakes. I find text speak almost impossible and I am only 24.

Also, college is where you are supposed to learn, so you should try to learn to spell.
