  1. Um, let's see, do you take classes? If you do, then just ask your teacher to help you. Ask him/ her to tell you how to make it higher. Ask for exercises, tips, eating tips, and more. Just be straight forward! :)

If YOU are the teacher, then go to russia over the summer and go to a summer camp there. All ages, and all levels. Even if you are a student, then go there! Here is the site:

    http://www.russianballetcamp.com/Summerp...

And, if you'd like to learn more about the dance company, then go to this site:

Please try to remember that Russia has the best of ballet! :)

  2. um i would just practice a lot!!! and this may sound stupid to u if incorrect but are u talking about Russian pointe shoes (ballet)??

  3. if you mean a russian jete or jete in 2nd then you should make sure you practice your middle splits every day! then start doing the leaps and try to do everything faster and slowly it will get better.

  4. This trick will help get stronger in the core and thighs.  Be on your back,  and push your butt up to a wall with your legs straight up to ceiling.  Lower your legs down side.  It is like sitting on the floor with your legs in 2nd but only on the wall.   You can now do grand battement with the right leg lifting the footoff the wall.   Do to left side.  You should do a few reps.  Now lift both legs off the wall at the same time while crunching up to touch toes.  This will help to make the jump stronger.

The hard part is getting off the floor.  Timing is very important for this jump.  To get more height..... reach the arms up high at start of the jump and down when the legs come up in 2nd.  Hope this helps.  Nothing happens over night...... only with practice will you get better

  5. if you're talking about a full russian then plie as deep as you can before jumping. also lift your chin and really push your arms and upper body towards the ceiling. concentrate on going up

half russian: same as above but also swing your leg as high as you can
