OK, here is a DAQ (dumb a*s question): Thinking about adding a presonus blue tube pre to my (growing, hobby-only) setup. So far, I've just gone mic > mixer > Delta soundcard. When I add a tube preamp, what is the path then? Mic > tube pre > Delta? Or mic > tube pre > mixer > delta? If I go mic > tube pre > mixer > delta, then the mixer is going to color the signal, isn't it? (Maybe not, though, if I set the channel flat.) I like leaving the mixer hooked to the inputs on the soundcard. I'm getting too old to crawl around on the floor every time I want to change a cable... :-) Thanks, folks, Keith
