ok, so I'm planning a special night out with my boyfriend. He keeps telling me I should cook him dinner. I'm taking him to the beach for a surprise dinner picnic but the only problem is I don't know what to make! Salads are easy to keep cool, but what main course can I bring along without having to bring a big cooler? Any creative ideas would be fantastic! Thanks!

  1. you

    lol

    just kidding

may be just bring sandwiches they are eazy to make and bring

it doesnt have to be fancy im sure he will love the thought

  2. you have must bring noodles, with your boyfriend picknic. And with this food you have must be take a coconut water also.Becouse it's  creative a good nature for every human.

  3. take it easy.  just make sandwiches.

  4. It's not cooking, but my favorite picnic is just a summer sausage, a big hunk of cheese and some french bread - and a knife.  Wine also goes well if you are old enough.

  5. i understand you dont want to bring sandwiches ...what about chicken salad? or mac salad and if he wanted you to cook for him home make it,...if you like seafood seafood salad with shrimp and crab would be great mix some mayo onions and whatever else youd like in it.

  6. Use skewers to arrange different meat cheeses and veggies. You could also use cold boiled shrimp and crab- like a shrimp cocktail. If adventurous try oysters Rockefeller and caviar. Take different dipping sauces. Don't forget a nice bread. For dessert, use skewers of fruit with chocolate or caramel dipping sauce. Don't forget a nice blanket to sit on and some mood music. Good luck!

  7. I also like the cold shrimp & seafood cocktail idea.  Another idea is fried chicken.  Stay away from anything mayonnaise-based, as it's hard to keep cool enough, and can also be messy.  Cold fruit salad is refreshing & easy to prepare & pack.  By all means, bring wine (if you are of legal age)!

  8. champagne and champagne glasses are romantic, but if you aren't old enough to drink, here something really cute: sparkling apple cider with champagne glasses! it makes you feel really romantic and mature. what about pasta? the noodles don't have to be ABSOLUTELY warm, and you can heat some tomato sauce, rinse out the jar, and then pour the warm sauce back in and s***w the cap shut. you can bring a container of shredded cheese, and perfect! toss it all into a wicker basket, throw in a super soft picnic blanket, and if they allow fires on the beach, toss in a few candles and some matches. don't forget the dessert!! i'd say some home made sugar cookies, and a thermos of hot chocolate ought to do the trick. sounds pretty simple to me. (: and FUN.

  9. Take wieners, hot dog buns, and build a fire if it is allowed.  Also

take marshmallows.  Take skewers and have fun roasting the food

over the open flame.  Also, hamburger patties can be made ahead of

time-----just make the patties, put them in heavy-duty foil and lay

them on hot coals at the edge of the fire.  Potatoes and other veggies can also be put in foil and laid on hot coals.  Let the meal cook while you play frisbee on the beach.  P.S.  don't forget the drinks, chips, and

    buns!!
