DBX-1215 to Home Receiver

I want to connect a DBX-1215 to a Yamaha RX-397. Do I need a set of LM2B/U Device Matching Device to convert from Unbalanced to Balanced ? The DBX-1215 has XLR connectors. Should I get some XLR-RCA cables and use these to connect the Receiver and the Equalizer directly ?
