they seem really good with all the features and the boa system, but has anyone tried them?

are they light?

good for freestyle?

will the wires/cable of the boa system break eventually?

if they're not the best in freestyle, which one are?

  1. My vote is definitely against the boa system.  I work at an on mountain ski shop.  We sell tons of boa system boots.  They do end up breaking fairly often.  hey are replaceable and fixable, however DC will usually send 1 or 2 replacement kits, after those are gone, it takes about 2 months to get it fixed, that's a long time to go without boots, when our winters are getting shorter and shorter.

  2. To be honest with you ive ridden all kinds of dc boots from the allegiance to the super park boot and i havent found a super comfy pair yet.

If i were you i would look past dc i bought into it because biittner rode for them and he gave their boots good reviews but i guess you have to if theyre your sponsor hahaha.

I hate to say it but I think im gonna have to say that burton believe it or not makes the best snowboard boots. The boxer especially is a super good freestyle boot. Its not heavy like dc's and all burton boots just fit right no matter who you are.

If you arnt into the whole burton thing Id take a chance and pick up a pair of nike's next year they look like theyre gonna be solid boots super comfy and definatly made for freestyle

    Alright as for the specs

Weight: almost all dc boots are super heavy because they use thick rubber to keep your food planted to the binding

Good for freestyle?- Im gonna give this a no. Because most dc boots are ultra heavy and after a while of jibbing pressure points come into play and they start to hurt super bad. Theyre sick for jumps though.

The Boa System-Boa lacing is super tight in a good way. You have full control over the tightness of the laces and your boot tightens all around your foot not just the top of it. And so far from what ive seen the wire lace seems pretty strong.

Like i said at the top for a good freestyle boot try some of the lighter pairs of burtons.

As for 32 boots yes they are super good. they last a long time and theyre super light. the only problem is they dont last long.
