Help me explain, if this will cause some problem with a car or battery or alternator.

  1. Nope you will be fine as long as you use the correct equipment.


  2. It won't hurt anything. The alternator in a typical car can drive about 700 to 800 watts of load. 200 watts is about equal to having all of the lights on. So, with the engine running, you can run all of the lights and the 200 watts on the inverter and STILL have power left over which is available to charge the battery.

  3. The car cigarette lighter Or power point, It is the same thing and will have a maximum withdrawal limit. You can not exceed this.

    You can purchase a device known as an 'Inverter' which will convert the 12/24 volts (car voltage) to mains. It also has a standard domestic 3 pin outlet where you may connect appliances.

    Car voltages and mains are totally different, remember mains can electrocute, cars can't really.

    Many malfunctions can potentially occur, depending what you do with the equipment.
