DCRHC21 replacement Accesories?

Question

I lost my charger and adaptor.

I bought AC-L200-adaptor. When I connected it and plugged it the EASY button lit Up and makes a "ticking"sound,only stops when I unplugged it.- What does it mean, is it safe?

I bought NP-FP50/FP70 battery charger by Insten. I was told its compatible for DCR HC21 battery. It doesnt reach any end of the charger when i tried to fit the battery, it only snugs on the sides.

I dont know if thats okay...scared to plug it. Should it fit in all sides spicifically this model(charger)
