Question:

DDR and Track and Field?

I was wondering. Could playing DDR (and when I say DDR, I mean DDR on heavy.) in addition with track workouts speed up the process of getting back into shape for summer track? Does it help with leg muscle and stamina? Could it possibly hinder my track career as a sprinter?

  1. I would definitely think so. I play on heavy too and I have seen amazing differences in my leg muscles; they have grown a lot. It has also built up my stamina. I am able to play longer and harder songs, and able to run longer distances without stopping. It would not hinder your track career as a sprinter.
