ok so i just realize that i GOT a very tiny ( like a small white dot )

on the screen of my iphone 3g.

and i already used it for more than a month

( im actually one of the people who waited in line to get this phone - 6 hours to be exact )

what should i do???????????

is this dead pixel covered with the APPLE WARRANTY??

the white dot is visible only if the screen is playing black or dark colors??

i cant get this back cos theres this policy on ROGERS WIRELESS (canadian iphone carrier) that if u used it more than 36 hours..u cant get it back..

what should i do?

do i just ignore this dead pixel for the next 3 YEARS of plan????

  1. I think it most likely not. Because I remember to read that it will only be replace for inside file corruptions. So if your iphone felt and the screen brake, you will not be replace with a new one. =/

You can always call apples to see whats up with it.

  2. you dont have a dead pixel. what you have is a frozen pixel, but that really makes no difference. It will be covered under apples warranty.

    When you get your new phone, check for these common defects;

cracks in the case around the camera/headphone jack

    rainbow streaks on the screen

    dust under the screen

light leak (in between the bezel and screen.. you will see light)

    frozen/dead pixels

    make sure the gps works

The iphone 3g has a massive defect rating:

    heres my poll on it
