  1. .... you dont have to be 18 you just got to have the money thats all people care about

  2. Internet merchants cannot tell how old you are from a debit card transaction.  Someone selling merchandise on Ebay or craigslist might be able to tell from other information you might reveal during a transaction.

  3. To be quite honest your bank doesn't care at all about you as a person and your individual spending. At 15 unless your parents or guardians, who I assume co-signed your account are paying attention and mind, you should be fine. The only time this would come into effect would be in the unlikely event that you default on a large number/large dollar amount of purchases. It would then become simply one more thing they could hammer you on.

    Good question btw...

  4. It is true that you must be 18 to have a debit card. But I know parents give them to their minor children who are listed as pns= principle Non Signers on the account.

The only way I would know the purchase was done by you is if your guardian came into the bank & disputed the transaction. Then when my fraud dept investigated the item it would still show up under the parents name. If no one compains there isn't any other way to know. Just make sure you have the available funds.
