DECT Phone features?

Question

Is there a DECT 6.0 phone out there that automaticaly puts a 1 before a number on caller ID? I currently have a Uniden 5.8 and when I call a number back from caller ID it does not put a 1 so I have to write down the number, dial it with a 1 and call it back. Also wanting a phone that has more than the last 3 numbers redial feature. Maybe something similar to cell phones where u can see the last 20 outgoing, incoming or missed etc. Thanks for your help.

Well there is no such phone like that out yet. And I believe theres only about 2 DECT 6.0 phones out. I have the Vtech one that looks similar to the razr keypad. There is also one made by GE that looks good. Mine has great quality first of all, no interference.

There is no big deal about a 'DECT' type phone. There are many, including Panasonic, that use multiple cordless handsets and chargers. The DECT phones operate around 1900 Mhz. instead of 2.4 or 5.8 Ghz. They are typically digital 3G type technology, but to the average home user, no major difference from most any other good cordless phone. I am not aware of any Caller ID that will display the '1' before the area code. However, you can store the '1' along with the number in your frequently called number list, if you have one on your phone.
