DEH-P8950BT was working fine then

Question

DEH-P8950BT was working fine then radio suddenly stopped, the screen was showing bubbles. When I tried to switch ubit off it went to the time showing as 12.00 (it had reset). Now when I switch on it looks fine but there is no sound and it does not register commands etc. When I switch the car off the clock remains and the unit appears on and will not switch off HELP
