DESPERATELY SEeKING ANSWER HELP PLEASE!!!?

I have a piece of sand in my eye. when i put my contacts in, it doesn't really hurt anymore, but when i take it out i feel it again. is it ok to wear my contacts, or is the sand going to be pushed to far into my eye or something?

i don't own a pair of glasses.

  1. wash the sand out! splash water in your eye, or squeeze in eye drops until the sand comes out. don't just put in your contacts and leave it!


  2. Take a wash cloth and wipe your eyes, should work.

  3. Go to an ophthalmologist immediately. More likely than not, the sand isn't there- but the scratch caused by what WAS on your eye is. Again, go to an ophthalmologist immediately.

  4. wash/rinse it out with water..?

    friction isn't good on the eyes..glasses are good =P

  5. This happened to me a few years ago I'm amazed at how one tiny grain of sand can be so painful.

    Seeing it has been there a few days I would see you doctor they can get it out for you using some drops the enhance what ever is in your eye.

    No relief until you have done this
