Question:

DFX sdk error with vista 64-bit?

Hi,

I'm a Vista 64-bit user and just upgraded to Yahoo Music from Music Jukebox.

When starting to play an mp3 in either Yahoo or Media Player I get the error:

CDfxsdk Message:

DFX SDK Evaluation Expired

I don't have winamp installed, btw.

I can't find this thing, whatever it is, can't see anything to uninstall to get rid of it.

Help?

Does anyone know where this came from?

What its used for?

Why I got it?

But more importantly:

How to get rid of it!!

Thanks,

Rob

  1. DFX enhances audio.  In particular it is available for Windows Media Player and Yahoo Music Jukebox.  Check out this download site:

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/...

Under the edit tab of Music Jukebox, click Preferences and then click plugins.  Maybe you  can remove the plugin there. BTW,  DFX is not supported on OS 64 bit systems.

  2. Try contacting their support

    GoodLuck
