  1. From what I understand the family took the 450k cash from the house and walked, along with the 250k they were given by the show.   It was a scam that they profited by 700k from.


  2. Yes, the foreclosure auction happened and the family lost the house.  

    They took a home equity loan to start a construction business that failed.  It was (another) poor financial decision for people who obviously can't handle their finances.
