DIDA ICT Help please?

I did a DIDA ICT level 2 course this year, for unit 1 i got an A* , unit 2 C, unit 3 B, unit 4 i never found out but i think its a D or maybe even an E.

I was told at the beginning of the course that at the end we get 4 GCSE's, but then later on my teacher said something like "if you fail 1 course then you fail all the others" or something along those lines.

Like me their very confused about what you get at the end. if what he said is true then I'm obviously very worried, ive got everything riding on this course, i got a D in maths and english, i just need 1 more C to do A levels and i need it badly. i don't want to have to repeat year 12 for another year.

can someone confirm to me what exactly happens at the end of the course and weather you have to pass all the units to get a grade?

Also, i got my GCSE results for maths and english today but the results for my DIDA ict course arent here. does anyone know when im suppose to get them?

  1. The units are inline, if you fail the first Unit 1 (Using ICT) you fail them all, but if you pass that one and pass Unit 2 but fail 3 you still keep the other two but if you pass Unit 4 it won't count.

Our school messed up DiDA badly so we only did the first two Units, but we also did ICT Short course as a fall back so it wasn't so bad.

  2. Congrats on your results by the way!

We didn't get our DIDA results today either, and we thought it was just us.

We were supposed to do 4 units, but my class only ended up doing 3.

We still wanna know our results though!

Apparently they could get posted to you, but I'm not totally sure.

Last year my mate got hers with all her other results but they were just marks and they weren't sure of the grade boundaries so they couldn't really work out their grade until they went back to school (sixth form).

But you know, that's last year..

Anyway, good luck and I'm sure you didn't fail the last one - cause of the A*, B & C =] You're lucky you got to do 4 units.

Let me know what you get ♥
