Okay so I really need to dye my hair! It doesn't look good.

I have some bleach blonde strips in my hair and a couple little strips of brown.

If I go to the store and buy either black or really light brown dye what will happen?

Please help

  1. well; if you buy black or light brown hair dye nothing will happen except the fact you'll have less money;]

and dye your hair with it, your hair will turn black or light brown...duhhh! :]

i suggest light brown if your blonde. Black is very, very difficult to get rid of.

  2. I advise you not to get black because the only way to dye your hair from black is to bleach it.. And that dries out your hair A LOT!! So i would go with the brown color. And no matter what you will always have those highlights till they grown out since they are lighter then the rest of your hair! So you will still have he highlights they just might not be as noticeable.  I also advis you to get a color that has ash in the title.. I will help your hair from becoming brassy and red during the process. :)

  3. you will have all sorts of different colours in you hair since you have blond and that I'm a hair dresser and to be honest go to a hair dresser so they can strip out the colour its like 10 dollars and then you can dye it good luck<3

  4. Hmmm..I prefer black..

  5. Ok, since youy dying your hair with home dye it might turn out brassy. actually, knowing that you have bleach blonde highlights, yes those WILL turn out brassy. Your hair will be different colors because the dye affects different colors of hair differently. Id say to go to a salon, even if its a cheap one-because if your going dark it cant possibly hurt your hair that much because the darker you go, the less damaging it is. usually darker colors make your hair more conditioned and lighter ones zap all the moiusture from hair lol

So id say go to a salon fi you can, otherwise dye it a really dark color, wait three weeks and re dye it :)
