I went to www.dishnetwork.com to look at HD recievers and the ones for 2 TVs are only good for 1 HD Television but we have 2, are there any that are good for 2 HDTVs that they aren't showing?

  1. Buying your own receiver will do you absolutely no good. You will have to have Dish activate the one you bought and they are still going to charge you the $5 bucks a month.

Also, it's true you can get OTA HD for free but just your locals and not any "pay" HD channels.

  2. Buy your own reciever and you'll pay a lot less instead of renting one from Dish. I looked on thr web and there are plenty of recievers by other companies so you can choose the one best for you. Also you can install a antena inside or outside that will get you High Def. channels for free. I went to you tube to find out and if you do the same you'll be amazed.

  3. You could always get a 622/722 (hd dvr) and a 211/222 (hd recs).  This would get you true hd feeds on the two televisions with the receivers.  You would have to pay the extra for the 2nd rec but the picture quality would make up for it.

  4. Unfortuneatly, no. I have the same problem. I also talked to their customer service who said I would have to get 2 different HD boxes. Kinda stinks cause then you have to pay another $5 per month charge etc. (plus the cost of the box!!)
