DIY CD polish?

What liquid or chemical buffs CDs to a smooth finish?

Not just buffing SCRATCHES but buffing rough spots on the underside of the CD where scratches usually are

(i.e those cloudy spots you get if you spill something like perfume or cologne on it)

What also gets rid of the cloudy spots?

You can use car wax, dab it on lightly over the scratch, let dry then buff it off with a soft cloth in the same direction of the scratches.

Just go out and buy the Cd cleaners for 5$

because you could end up ruining your cds if not cleaned properly.
