  1. Old t-shirts make great dust clothes or rags for polishing wax on a car.

    You can make placemats, decorative bulletin boards (cover one in the fabric, add a little padding, add widely criss-cross ribbon to make a diamond pattern.  The ribbons can hold notes or pictures), covers for your computer or table runners.
