I thought of printing out what I wanted it to say on a type of paper that I could used around the candle, maybe something clear....but again, I don't know what to look for. YOur help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

  1. try www.printacandle.ca

They print directly on the candle. not a sticker.

  2. Why not make it something you will love to use...  If you have any flowers in bloom, such as lavendar, marigolds, roses, etc... pick off the petals, or for the lavendar, the entire flower stem... lightly brush a bit of melted wax on the sides of your candle, and stick the flower petals to it... cover with another light brushing of the wax and let harden... you can deepen the wax with more light coats or just barely stick them to your candle...

If you want a verse, I would use vellum which you can get at Michaels or Joanne Fabrics, print it on the computer in whatever size and font you like and use the same technique to adhere it to the candle...

    Enjoy

  3. There is stuff called vellum that you can print on and its kind of translucent. Print whatever you want on it and then you can wrap it around the candle and to keep there for being lines at the top and bottom of it, you can glue some ribbon around it. Hope that helps!

  4. You could use one of the plastic sheets that are used for overhead projectors to print something out and wrap around the candle.

  5. Find some parchment paper and have a friend do calligraphy.  You may not want to get too lengthy in what is put on your candle.  Most people I know who have had them end up saving them and getting tired of the dust.  Then they burn them at dinnertime.  Not to burst your bubble, but be realistic.  Saving money is worth it, and make sure you enjoy your beautiful wedding day. Your memories will last longer than any of the mementos!

    Blessings to you both!
