My dad cant work because of his bad back and has recently got the Disability Living Allowance. He has put down for the motability car scheme as i am learning how to drive at the moment and i can drive him.

I am wondering if there is any requirements for this ? Such as 'must have drivers license for a year' 'Must be over 2`'. etc.

  1. From the Motability website:

"Proposed drivers must not have any serious driving convictions, disqualifications, or endorsements within the last five years. There are also some restrictions on drivers under 25 and those with provisional licences."

  2. I would have thought they have to be over 2, definatly
