DLINK-CREATE A WIRELESS BRIDGE

ok so i have a verizon fios, wireless router. and a dlink wireless router that i used before for my xboxlive, and also get internet on my computer thats in my room as well. i know that you could buy the wireless adapter for the 360 but i dont have that kind of mney. i heard you could wireless bridge certain mdoels. i want to know if the DLINK WBR 1310 supports wireless bridge. if so can you help me set it up.

  1. I downloaded the manual to your router.

    I didnt see any "bridging" capability.  However, it could do so in what the manual called "ad hoc" mode.

    I would suggest trying to call DLink Tech Support.

    They maybe able to help you.  Chances are the Verizon people will not be that helpful.  I was having someone from the FIOS team tell me how secure WEP was (the default mode on the router they gave me).

    I do fell that you will be able to make this work.  Just would be hard to do it without beign there.  Know anyone that is savvy with networks (Cisco CCNA type)?
