DLL files???????????

Question

whenever i try to open an exe. file for call of duty fall (thats probly irelevent) it says application failed to start because d3dx9_34.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem, but its not even installed - i have already replaced the dll file with another - from 2 different sources but it still has the same problem, any ideas would be greatful

Run "sfc /scannow " with your windows cd in the cd

When you have the file, you need to put it in the Call Of Duty program folder.

Failing that, you will need to reinstall the game. If you are in Vista, try clicking run as administrator on the install disc/file.
