DMV san diego?

Question

I just moved to San Diego from Ohio and I need to get plates for my car as well as get a California license. I just put my car into my name in Ohio so i have 30 day tags. My husband's license expired he is from Oklahoma will we be able to go to the same place to get all of this done? What is it called here is San Diego, they recently changed the DMV to the BMV in ohio so im not sure whats its called or where its located.

It's called the DMV.  See the website www.dmv.ca.gov.    You can put in your address and it will give you the nearest office.

We call it the Department of Motor Vehicles.  Please call and make an appointment.  The number is in the phone book under the "California, State of"  heading.   It will save you from having to spend hours standing in lines.
