DNA tests show the British are all still basically celtic?

so why all the obsession with "black" culture among young people? I suspect it is just token rebellion like teens have always done, so why is it given such credence?

The celts were conquered by the romans and the normans. Aren't you lucky that they kept you alive to do the menial work and didn't kill you all. How do you resolve the modern britons from india? Do they have celtic blood too?

Most Brits are pre-celtic actually--there's no evidence of a huge invasion of continental celts in around 500 BC as was once thought. the Celtic language may be as old as the neolithic.

but that aside, kids seem so ill educated in their own history they probably wouldn't even know what a celt was ('some Scottish guy') or that dna can find out other things besides the paternity of a chav's kid!

all races and religions fight against each other because they think there superior to the others . why ....? i don't know , but if we all acted like decent human beings we'd all get along a h**l of alot better .

All British people aren't even from the U.K because it used to be too cold for anyone to live in, so when it defrosted people from other countries moved in so no one is originally from the U.K.

British are both Anglo Saxon and Celtic, the Scots and Irish have more Celtic blood that the English, English have more Anglo Saxon blood. The whole of Britain were once Celts, but when the Anglo Saxons invaded they pushed the Celts out (into Scotland and Ireland - which would have still been attached to main land Britain in those days).

Black culture? That is just a street fad like every other fad, for example, mod and rockers in the 60's. It's not as if every kid conforms to the whole Black culture thing, there are many styles and cultures amongst young people here. And as far as I know, it doesn't have all that much credence, unless you get onto the whole knife crime subject - but that is a whole other issue...
