Question:

DNC convention like 1930s n**i rallies?

In the 1930s, the n***s used to put on huge out-door rallies and speeches to gain the people's support. Himmler said that in a crowd "no one disagrees". Isn't the DNC's 85,000 person crowd, with it's unison chanting and crying women (yes, they were CRYING) a bit creepy to you?

  1. Is that ALL that McCain gives you people? Lame comparisons to Hitler?

It must really suck to be a Republican.

  2. Not any more so than a republican meeting.

I'm pretty sure n***s wouldn't try to elect a black man either.

  3. An convention that is open to the public is a lot better than the smoke-filled rooms of yesteryear.  A message of hope is much different than the message a hate spewed by the n***s (and most of the pundits on Fox).

  4. except they want all jews dead, oh no wait...its the same

  5. NO!  By invoking Godwin's law you automatically lose the debate, and make yourself look foolish to boot.

  6. Yes, it is. I agree with your assessment 100 %.

  7. That is exactly what went through my mind. The only thing missing was the Swastikas. What the heck though, what is a few arm bands and flags between socialists.

  8. You're on to something there. The n***s did like big productions.

  9. It is true that when you are in a crowd it is hard to disagree with majority and you get caught up in the moment.  Thats the point of these things.  I think it is a true sign of the blind leading the blind.  They look like a bunch of robots that have been programmed to do these things.

  10. Really? Trying to play the n**i card?

Just because you and the GOP can't seem to get too excited about McCain, just because you had conservative pundits talking about supporting Hillary before they'd support McCain, doesn't mean the party that has enthusiasm about their candidate are the n***s.

I'd liken it more to a speech I'm sure you know took place 45 years ago today. There, you had thousands of people gathered outside, cheering on a charismatic speaker who spoke of how we as a nation can be a better country, a better people.

  11. You're really, really stretching with that question.

  12. I would say there was a very distinct difference in the message.

But you are right, I'm sure Jesus even had a group that acted like n**i's in the 30s.

  13. yes I agree. They are acting like he is a god or something they are there to worship. I  think they are caught up in the moment and the celebrity of Obama and not focusing on his past and his constant waffling on the issues. He tells people what they want to hear to get elected and then he will sell us out. Its not a coincidence his decor was a Roman-style stage, because he will sell us in to bondage like the Romans were.

  14. Lizzy B hit a sore spot with a few of her readers. And a few of them had some pretty monotonous things to say about your question; the GOP is the big bad wolf, business people (aka conservatives) all suck, guardians (aka conservatives) are going to find out that we have s*x with the lights on, and the FOX pundits (aka conservatives) are sand baggers.

It seems to me that since no one who disagreed with you actually refuted your argument with any factual reasons stating why your comparison may be flawed indicates that no one who disagreed actually thought about the group think mentality you are really criticizing.

A decent refutation of your comments might go something like this...

The DNC convention isn't comparable to the n***s because they haven't demonstrated the fascist characteristics normally associated with the n**i party. Lemocrats don't think the culture has declined and want to make sure everyone thinks a certain way about who acts rightly and what is fair...

The DNC convention isn't comparable to the n***s because they aren't promoting the rule of a dictatorial type government. Lemocrats want to tell everyone exactly how they should think...

The DNC convention isn't comparable to the n***s because they haven't demonstrated the nationalistic, militaristic, authoritarian, populist, collectivism, statistic, or social interventionism, and economic planning of the n**i party. No lemocrat would ever think of any type of militaristic posture of a peaceful, thoughtful, live and let live kind of people. No lemocrats wouldn't take up arms for any reason...

But the lemocrats will embrace just about all the ideas n**i Germany did.

No no, your critics instead said things like, Nani Nani boo boo.

Since no one offered you any kind of actual criticism and only mustered placebo's such as Godwin's Law (which was applied incorrectly and incompletely) and statements such as "it must really suck to be a republican" (god I wish I could type in Valley Girl type speech) and a message of hope is better than that other message the old white guys preach at you (be responsible for yourself, work hard and you might make something of yourself one day kid...) at you, it seems to me that your assessment is still on spot and might be able to be criticized if any one on this board might actually know how to do it!

But, it is apparent they don't know what a good refutation is and it is apparent they don't recognize the difference between ad hominem attacks and real critiques.

Who is the greater fool, he who argues without understanding or he who argues with a fool?

Of course you might be here just to stir up the bee's nest? I think I like that idea...

BTW when I counted those who agreed with you (probably McCain supporters) and those who didn't (lemocrats) the score was 7 to 8 Conservatives. My unofficial pole says McCain has a 3.4% lead...

  15. You're creeped out by people getting emotional over the idea of positive change?

And I assume you're not creeped out by being surreputitiously spied on and lied to by a war-mongering party of corporate cronies?
