DO I HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER TEAM????

10 teams, h2h, 6 keepers.

here is my team:

c - ryan doumit

1b - prince fielder

2b - b.j. upton

3b - chone figgins

ss - jimmy rollins

2b/ss - orlando cabrera

1b/3b - jason giambi

of - matt holliday, josh hamilton, carlos quentin, milton bradley, alex rios

utl - matt kemp

bench - jacoby ellsbury, placido polanco, david dejesus

pitchers - francisco rodriguez, fausto carmona, john lackey, brandon lyon, cliff lee, dan haren, francisco cordero, justin duchscherer, david price

is this a championship caliber team? anything i can do to improve?

  1. Give up one or two of your OF's/bench and get another star pitcher. Then it is.


  2. This is a very good and balanced team. You have speed, Upton, Rollins, Figgins, Cabrera, Kemp., and Rios. You have contact hitters, Doumit, Hamilton, and Bradley. You have good power, Fielder, Holliday, Hamilton, and Quentin. And your hitting bench isn't bad. You also have pretty good starting pitchers. Most of them are young and good. Your relief pitchers are also pretty good and young. David Price is a risky keeper, but I would keep him for now. Not many changes needed, and it looks like a championship caliber team to me. Your hitting bench seems a little too much though. You already have a good 2B and don't need Polanco. Trade him for something you need. Probably someone to replace Giambi with.
