DO I need a document telling that my parents allow me to travel?

I was born in Latvia but live in Ireland I have turned 16 this year and Im planning to fly back to Latvia on my own for 2 weeks to visit my family.Just wanted to know do I need to get a document that stated that my parents allow me to travel on my own or em I old enough to be able to just buy a flying ticket to latvia and go just like the adult?

  1. once ur over the age of 16 u are classed as an adult by all airlines so u do not need a document from ur parents as u are now old enough to fly unsupervised


  2. In the U.S. you would be considered an unaccompanied minor.  Check the regulations of the airline you intend on taking.
