DO U NO WHAT U WANNA DO IN LIFE YET?

Question

if just brought my own house with my bf n i still dont kno what career i want i feel a bit lost as all my friends no what they want but im just in a easy job(im happy doin this at the moment) but eventually i wanna do something esle. i just wondeed if u felt like this too?

Not many people know what they want to do, I don't and I'm 34 and married.  My mum did some admin jobs before training to be a nurse then after 25 years, she left and became a childminder.

Best advice I can give is to do something you enjoy and when you stop enjoying it, look around for something new.

Just turned 18 two months ago, going to college in the fall, majoring in Psychology, want to be a psychiatrist. Known that for two years now.

Nope, i'm 22 and still don't know, I think a lot of people undervalue a nice stress free job. I work in a shop and I love it, but I also do an OU degree on the side but i'm not really bothered about the qualification i'm going to get out of it at the end. I've decided I don't want a career, my only requirement is to be happy- I think a lot of people mistake the word 'career' for happiness, so go enjoy yourself for now untill you fancy a change.

i dont think i will ever have a plan, i didnt up to this point and its got me into a good university doing a useful degree that i love. i just plan to go with the flow and see what comes my way, something always does.

looks like me and u r in the same boat, i went to uni, got a degree in BA (Hons) Business Management, duno y i chose that coursem not really interested in business anyway, im not working coz im on maternity leave at the mo, but i hate doing telesales work, duno what else i can do, sometimes i think that i wana be self employed ,but duno what business to set up and aint got the funds to start off with, sad init??

I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life and realised this week, that my life is going the way I wanted it to for a change. I got a great job in a hospital which I do enjoy, just never realised it til now and I'm also at University but I know I want to succeed and graduate but a lot of people have put me down about it saying I would never graduate as I'm not smart but then I thought about it and said if I wasn't smart then why did I get accepted and why is the need for you to belittle me at every opportunity, I don't have many friends but I do have a great bf who I spend a lot of time with because he makes me feel good about myself. It's like for first time in my life I'm happy and I don't feel so c**p at everything. If its meant to happen it will happen.
