DO U THINK l CAN GET A FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIP TO....?

Question

the universtiy of texas at austin (UT), oklahoma university (OU), or another great D1 college for track? i run the 400 in 47.5 exact, and the 800 in 1:54 exact. explain, and how much would i need to improve. also my grades are good with top 3% in class, 2200 sat, and 4.0 gpa

btw, could i get a full ride scholarship to these colleges with my grades alone?

OU will look at your ACT scores, any Texas school will require you to take their new mandatory college entrance test ... I'm blanking on the name, TASP?.. something.  

Great GPA.  I doubt either of these schools will give you a free ride based on either your athletic ability or your gpa though.  Even if you did, you'd still have a dorm to pay for.... and possibly out-of-state tuition.  But you will never know if you don't apply.

Chances aren't that likely that you would get a full ride. The prices of tution are rising and the funds are staying the same so fewer and fewer people are getting "free rides". Many universities now a days base scholarships not only on academic standing but also finical need. So you may get funding for your grades but you may not get it completely paid for.
