DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS I WOULD HAVE WITH MICROTATOO IN MY EYES AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE?

I made my microtatoo in my eyes six months ago, and this week I must to go to hospital to make me a Magnetic Resonance and I´m worried because I could have my eyes burned. is it true? what kind of burns? I called the enterprise which made the ink for microtatoo and they said me it has some kind of iron... Please answer me. And thank you......

  1. It's not burns you have to worry about.  MRI uses an incredibly powerful magnet to scan.  If the ink in your tattoo has iron in it, the magnet can, and probably, will pull it right out of your skin, or in this case, your eye.  Do yourself a favor and inform the hospital to make sure it's safe before you get anywhere near the MRI.


  2. find out exactly what metal is in the tattoo and then ring the hospital before the appointment to find out. its not the burns that you need to be worried about its the type of metal in your eye as the scanner is one big STRONG magnet and it will just rip it out!
