While the Arctic Icecaps are diminishing slightly, The Antarctic has been gaining Ice, and the current models being used by the Dems to demonstrate temperature increase fail to account for water vapor and are based only on the last 100 years. Essentially there IS NO REAL EVIDENCE for Global Warming, yet Barak Hussein Obama wants to raise your taxes to help 'fight it' Its the most absurd agenda I've ever seen, the weather is always changing, so you can always scare people into thinking something's wrong with it.

Well its a liberal agenda and liberals know what is best and they are truly best at taxing the people.  They are well read and entrenched in the public education from higher learning and eventually want to control all publice education.   They are very dependent upon taxes and they will use it to push a social agenda.   They have not learned that money does not cure our social ills and are doomed to repeat this failed ideal into perpetuity.   Global warming, going green is just another ploy to collect taxes.  You cannot tax people into wealth it keeps most of us down yet they are doing what is best for me and my children.  I would rather they leave the people alone and let us chose how to spend our income.

NO! I don't want to use tax dollars and waste them on a theory-just because everyone has an agenda.  I personally think it is all a marketing ploy "go green" companies did'nt do anything different just changed packaging and brag about how great they are because they don't dump toxic waste into the ocean.  Where I work all the vendors changed displays and faxed thick stacks of paper going on about how green they are.  They did'nt actually change anything though.  So hypocritical. Let's make sure there are not people starving to death in America before we waste money on less important things.

Global temperatures have been dropping for a decade, in line with natural longterm climate cycles.

The icecaps are NOT getting smaller. They're smaller in summer than in winter, but that's hardly surprising.

Some 20 years ago I read a novel called the HAB Theory that had some interesting speculations about cataclysmic event possibilities. Later I found that it was based on a book called Cataclysms of the Earth by Hugh Auchincloss Brown and one of the points he makes is that our current interglacial has lasted over 11,000 years because the ice cap over Greenland is to small to counter the weight of the Antarctic one. The books are interesting reading and help skeptics to understand the thinking of believers that believe because the want to believe.

Everybody should read the book because it has some interesting theories and it shows how intelligent people can be led down the primrose path of faith because a theory just sounds to hood not to be true. This is where skeptics have to step in and restore sense instead of faith to the argument bt asking for real proof not sound good theories!

The temperature charts they have for the past hundred years is from old inacurrate data . There is no way U could establish an accuracy of the data. One deg. over 100 years ,without an idea of the accuracy is garbage. It makes no difference what computer U use ,if U put in bad data it will give U garbage data.

Global Warming has been used as an excuse to levy more taxes, but I notice that eco-friendly measures, such as insulating your house, do not get a corresponding Tax Break.

As most taxes which are raised in the name of reducing GW are not actually used to combat it, you can draw your own conclusions.
