Gas was 11 cents a gallon, milk was 19 cents a gallon, bread was 10 loafs for a dollar, pototoes were 19 cents a pound. Your dad worked for $1 a week. when a dollar had value, I mean real value. When people took pride in being a working individual, and the quality of the product you produced ment something to you other than just meeting the quota.

I don't know what happened but some-one needs to turn back the clocks to a much more meaningful time. argue if you must but I think greed and inflation has ruined this country.
