The New England Patriots had a great season last year just coming up short in the Super Bowl. Two of the teams super stars had record breaking seasons. Tom Brady set the record for TD passes in a season, and randy moss for TD catches in a season. Do you think the two of them can have another record breaking season in 2008 or not.

  1. not the same record

  2. Maybe...but its gna be T.O and ROMO

  3. No. Tom Brady is an elite Quarterback, up there with Peyton Manning, arguably better, but Randy Moss is a poison and with the loss in the Super Bowl, look for Randy to revert back to his old self and start dogging plays and bad mouthing the team. A better bet is Manning to Harrison. Harrison is a WR with class and a real team player.

  4. I doubt they will but it might be similar. Prolly 40 TD's thrown and maybe 15 for Moss. As for anyone thinking they are going to get the rush alot, there is a surprise awaiting those that try that. It worked last year but I think the running game is going to be more prevalent this year with a healthy maroney and morris so the rush will be muted. Also, their defense will probably be stingier with Mayo taking over in the middle and putting Adalius Thomas at home back outside. That front 5 of of Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, Thomas, and Vrabel should be similar to the h**l that NY had last year.  Really the only reason i see production going down for Brady and Moss is that they'll use the run more unless there's an injury to Maroney AND Morris again this year.

  5. I don't think so

  6. Doubtful, I've heard they're on the outs.

It seems Moss has grown uncomfortable with the nude after hour "workouts" that Brady so cherishes.

  7. Ummmm, NO!!! Until there are more games played in an NFL season, I don't think that even those 2 will break their records. I'm also doubtful they will go undefeated in the regular season again. Just far too easy to get injured in football.

  8. No records. Those are hard to come by. Last year was a dream season for both. I think they will be more balanced this year. Lamont Jordon is a fine addition to their running game.I would not be surprised if they went 19-0. I also would not be surprised if they struggle all year.

That is what is great about the modern day NFL.

         Go Steelers!!!!!!

  9. No the weak division they have been breaking all these records have also made improvements. They will not beat Miami in the disgraceful way they did last season. I don't dislike the Pat but just don't respect the easy teams they have to play and then be called the best. For the last few seasons the Colts and Pats play losing teams that needed rebuilding. Patriots use to be one of those teams years ago and all the teams beat up on them and the Colts. What goes up must come down and Pats and Colts will sink as the other teams rebuild. No they will not break any more records for quite some time to come against sorry teams..

  10. nothing has changed so yes look for more of the same .

  11. i hope the patriots suck this year there all cheaters

  12. nope, now that the NFL knows how to beat the Pats (attacking Brady, like the giants did) they will not go undefeated AND they will not break anymore records

  13. Nope. Not that they will not be great this season though. Teams will put a lot of pressure on them just as the G-Men did. Sometimes it will work and sometimes they will pay. I just find it hard to think they can top their own records.

  14. No. It will be a Pro Bowl season for both of them but the fact is teams are going to make it their priority to shut down the Pats passing game this year. They are gonna double Moss and put a big enough blitz on Brady that he doesn't have enough time to find Welker. Losing Stallworth just takes away one more good receiving option. This year, teams are gonna actually make Maroney do more than just stand in the backfield and block. Brady will still throw 35 touchdown passes and Moss will still catch about 15, but after a year with so much success, you can't expect NFL teams not to adjust.

  15. no i don't moss is old brady is dumb and the patriots are lucky, plus after teams win 8 games or so the refs want them to keep winning because the more major the games are the higher the refs salaries, also  the pats started to fade at the end of last year, almost losing to the eagles, giants, ravens, and the chargers kept it close for a while.

  16. its new season, team offense/defense changes with new players.  so i dont think so.

  17. They have the easiest schedule and I am sure they will find another way to cheat, so sure...why not?

  18. I suspect the entire team will have a better season than last year.  With the moves they've made they are simply a better team and what's even scarier is that they're pissed that they didn't win the Super Bowl last year.  So you have talent and a chip on their shoulders---yeah I expect records to get smashed!

  19. HECK YEAH they are the top and together great

  20. no chance

  21. They are the best combination there is in football.  They will continue to dominate because no one can cover Moss.  As long as he keeps his head on straight, and Brady stays healthy, and there is strong blocking for Tom, the production will be excessive.  Whether that translates into another Super Bowl will depend on San Diego, Indy and Pittsburgh's output this season, and whether the Pats add the team speed they need at linebacker.  They are a little long in the tooth at that position.
