I think it wont I THINK it willl boost the confidance of the people AND that is what willl booost the economy likewise...? do you think tthat even though the package is FOR EVERYONE being its not (a huge check) WILL IT HAVE MUCH EFFECT on the economy/?? its not hit or miss here EVERYONE GET A CHECK!!??!! whatcha think?

If the checks are use as they were intended the economy will get a boost for sure.  But that doesnt mean it will ever stop a recession, which is bound to happen.  It will take months for that money to work its way into the economy, and will probably only make the effects of a recession less severe.  However, if the checks arent use appropriately, than we're screwed.  To effetivley help, use your check to buy things.  Simple, huh? But DO NOT spend your check to pay off debt.  Paying debt does not circulate money into the economy, which doesnt increase GDP, which doesnt help the economy.  I'm gonna buy some paint for my computer room.  Overall, it could go either way, as it depends on the American people.

No, but it will make people feel good. If people feel good, then they will be less likely to stockpile and hoard, and they will be more likely to carry on....it's just a bump in the road.
