DO highlights damage your hair when you get them done professionally?

As long as you go to a professional who has a good reputation highlights will not damage your hair.  It will actually feel great afterwords!

think of it this way: the people highlighting your hair are putting man-made chemicals into it. While they choose the 'safest' chemicals for your hair as they can (we hope), they are still chemicals and will do some damage. The question isn't 'will they do damage', the question is 'how much damage will they do?'

Yeah Any Chemical they put on your head is damaging...Highlights damage your hair whether you do them professional or yourself(Although, Don't..Becaue Box color sucks.)

Lowlights, on the other hand, Don't much..If your going darker, You can use a Semi-permanent(Which is less damaging.)
