DO i need a passport if...? READDESC?

Im 13 and travelling within my country, Canada (AB to NS).

Will i need a passport or just an identification card to travel within the country.

Please help.

  1. As you're not leaving Canada you certainly don't need a passport.

    Strictly speaking you don't need ID either. You can travel by road or rail without it.

    Given the distance I assume you intend to fly.

    The airline will expect an adult to take you to the airport and will ask for ID of some kind. They will treat you as an unaccompanied minor. No problem, they will take care of you but they may ask for confirmation that an adult will meet you on arrival.

    No need to worry, enjoy the trip.

  2. I don't think you need one but if you have one it works too as and ID.  You only really need a passport going out of the country

  3. As long as your staying within the Country- your ID will get you where you want to go...  :)

  4. You don't need a passport if you're not leaving the country.  You will need and ID, though.
