  1. Well with any contact lens, prescription or not, you must be a candidate to wear them.

This means having an evaluation of your cornea, the amount of tears that your eye produces and a general survey of your lid structure.

If your doctor tells you that your eyes are suitable for contact lenses then no, colored contacts will not be harmful to your eyes, provided that you care for them as instructed.

I've worn non prescription contact lenses in the past. At one time my dark brown eyes were a light honey color everyday of the week. Eventually I got tired of playing with colors that just didn't look very natural. I'd suggest for you sticking to colors that look real such as light browns and hazel. I personally do not like when eyes are screamingly fake, such as an asian person wearing blue contact lenses. However, it's personal preference and you should wear whatever makes you feel good!

  2. You still she get a eye exam ...even if you are only getting them for cosmetic reasons. Everyones eye has a different shape...etc...Go get a eye exam

  3. It's not harmful at all, as long as you clea nthe contacts and don't leave them in for too long. You have to treat them as if they were normal contacts, but they just don't change the way you see.

Also, it depends what color you're wearing.

I have seen asian girls with them on before, and sometimes they look good, but other times they look very weird.

Ask people you know, though, and tell them to answer honestly.

  4. no color contacts are fine...just get an eye exam to get the right dimensions of your eye and follow the directions, they'll be fine
