    But it's certainly changed...  You can't just drop everything and run to the store or go out with your friends anymore...

    I love having kids though...  They will be older soon, and more independent...  ~

  6. At first I would have agreed!  When they're small it does seem that way but as they get older (5-6) it gets much easier.  My hubby and I also had a policy to go out together (alone or with friends only) at least once a month. :)

    They become part of your life.. and your life will change forever but it definitly is NOT over all together. Changed, yes... but in a very good way for the most part.

  9. No, I just had my 1st child last year and I feel like a brand new chapter of my life is beginning. It's so amazing watching your child grow up and learn new things.

  12. Life as you know it? Yes, it is most definitely over.

    Long gone are the all-night parties, irresponsibility and spontaneous outings. However, if you are willing to look past what you are "losing", you'll realize that you are gaining a much better, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

    I guess it's all a matter of opinion though.

  13. My life isn't over, just different. My social life has pretty much ended but I don't mind... I'm pretty fond of  the new company- my son. :D

  15. Before i had my kids i felt like my life was over, that i had no reason to keep going on.  Once i had my first son I felt purpose and happiness.  Now that I am having my third son I am filled with even more feeling of purpose I guess.  Even on the hardest of times I am so happy to be a mom.
