DO you tip the limo driver?

For my wedding, im getting a limo of course, and it'll just be a transfer to the location (ceremony and reception in the same place) and it should only be about 6 or 7 of us in the limo...do you usually tip the driver? if so how much?

Are you kidding?  Of course you tip the limo driver!!  Like waiters and waitresses, tips make the job a good job our a lousy one.  If there are 6-7 of you $5.00 each is fine.  $7-10.00 each if you your driver did a great job

my boyfriends parents always tip their limo driver but they normally take it on a farther trip so it ur only going like a mile i dont think its worth it plus it would be too hard to determine if ur being a cheap @ss or if ur over doing it so i would say dont bother just thank them

You should ask the limo company because the tip is often included in the price. If not, then since you're only going to be using it as a transfer (less than an hour) I'd give him an extra $20.

yes you do  and a loooong time ago it was 50 - 100 $ what i would do is call a limo company that your NOT using and ask them  what is the normal rate / hour for a tip

I don't know how much depends on what the bill is. But you should definately give him/her a tip even if it's only $50

Usually the gratuity for the driver is already included in the fee. Read over what the limo company is charging you; it should have all the details included. If gratuity isn't included then it's up to you whether or not you wish to tip them...but most places include it now a days in the bill.

At my father-in-laws wedding, they got a limo, a cheap one mind you, but never the less, a limo... And they just got everyone in teh wedding party (or whomever will be in the limo) to give the driver $5.00 at the end of the night.

We tipped ours 100.00 Because not only did he take us to the ceremony, reception, and New York to our Hotel for the night, which took like 3 hours to get there, from here. He also bought us a bag of ice, and soda for the ride down. He was the sweetest thing, and even though the limo company screwed up and sent us the wrong colored limos, (Which he thought was really embarrasing) was another reason he was so good to us. It is absolutely up to you, how much or if to tip your driver. Being that it is just the ceremony and the reception, about 40 to 50.00 ought to do it.
