It needs its own category.  There are over 15 million skateboarders in the US alone.  It is the 3rd most played sport in the US behind soccer and basketball for youth 12-17

ya, that's stupid that snowboarding has a catagory, but skateboarding doesn't. Yahoo is basicly saying skateboarding isnt a sport. It's not just a sport, it's life..
