  1. Honey, that smell you are smelling are toxins. Bleach is a very harsh chemical that is very toxic to inhale and when you wash with it (especially hand wash) that goes into your pores. I would suggest that you ditch the chemicals and wash with something that would be less harmful to your health. I use to wash with clorox and sometimes the smell use to give me a headache. You have to keep in mind that bleach is a strong corrosive. It may irritate or burn the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. It may even cause pulmonary edema. I now use a eco friendly cleaner that whitens clothes with peroxide. Seventh Generation sells a great bleach alternative.

  2. Try putting some baby powder and rubbing them...only works sometimes.

  3. The bleach smell is still there because there is still bleach in your skin and pores.  It won't cause tremendous damage but you may notice your hands will be very dry over the next several days.  Best to always always where gloves when dealing with bleach and any household chemicals.  The only remedy is to rinse in cold water for 15 minutes.  No need for soap, just keep rinsing.  If the smell is still bothering you pour some white vinegar or lemon juice (acid) over your hands to neutralize the bleach (alkaline).

  5. Use handgloves.

  6. Try lemon juice, either the real thing or the stuff in the bottle.  That works for just about any odor on your hands.  Put it on and rub it into your hands well for about a minute and then wash with soap.  If you still have an odor, do it again.  The bleach smell will eventually wear off if you just leave it alone.

  7. Wet your hands and add baking soda, rub it in good, then wash and put moisturizer.

  8. You really should be wearing gloves bleach is bad for your body to absorb. You might want to try washing your hands with toothpaste, it gets rid of onion smell, worth a shot anyway.
