DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD PC CLEANING PROGRAM?

Question

I have some folders in my c drive that I am trying to delete. As soon as I delete them they come right back. I have tried deleting them with ccleaner and still they come back. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do to get rid of them? And help would be appreciated.

spybot search and destroy which is a free spyware cleaner comes with a file shredder program that i would think may work. you can get it here

I use System Mechanics 8, ccleaner is only a registry cleaner, have you tried just highlighting the folder and deleting it??

you could try a free software called:

GLARY UTILITIES 2.6.1

This software has a section called the "File Shredder" where you can permanently delete files.

If that does not work maybe you have been infected by a malware/spyware. I suggest you try Adaware 2008 for scanning and deleting those files. Even the free version of the said software can do the job.
